Joined 632 VGS in July 2018. The squadron is based at RAF Tern Hill, but has been temporarily operating from RAF Woodvale since December 2023 while repairs are made to the Tern Hill hangar. RAF Air Cadets reported flying activity returning to Woodvale in January 2024.
Supernumerary posting

Supernumerary to 644 VGS at RAF Syerston, supporting a unit within 2 Flying Training School while remaining active in cadet gliding.
Early VGS service
2013 - 2018
This was the base for Flight Staff Cadet service and Vigilant flying. RAF Woodvale's official station history notes that 631 VGS became 631 Aerospace Ground Training Squadron in 2018.
